The Joys of final year

So it’s the sixth week of term already… where has the time gone? It is really strange how as a culture we are always time keeping and always want to know what the time is. I myself am guilty of this; I am always looking at the time, and figuring out the best way to manage my time. I’m one of those people that am always early to something, and I couldn't think of anything worse than being late. People who are late really bother me. For example, the other day I was sat in a lecture, and bearing in mind I was in a 50 minute lecture, someone wandered in 30 minutes into the session… why? I really don’t understand how someone could be so late and why they would bother to go in, the person had missed the important parts of the lecture and just sat there texting. People, seriously!

Anyway, that’s my rant over for the time being. As the title suggests, the joy of final year is upon me, as I’m sure you’re aware by now. The other day I submitted my dissertation proposal, which was the beginning of actually getting my dissertation started. Between now and March, there are 10,000 words, plenty of research to gather, and most likely a lot of stress along the way, as well as 17,000 words from other assignments that I have to complete.

In coffee related news, I now live very close to a Starbucks, which for those of you who read my blogs from last year will remember, I practically lived there. This is very dangerous for me, as I have to pass it every day on my way into uni, I have to have some self-control when I walk past it so I don’t go in. This often fails though and I’ll often be sat on the bus holding my coffee cup. I’m so weak.

That’s it for now, I hope all is going well for you all, take care everyone, until next time!
